A former elite athlete turned certified executive coach, travel host, speaker, passionate fly fisher, and philanthropic leader,

Emily's journey of resilience and triumph over adversity is a powerful source of inspiration.

The platform and community Emily has built throughout each step of her journey has given her a chance to share her life, story, and passions with people around the world.

Emily’s story is truly one of reinvention, and the joy that can be found in accepting that your life is a journey. Better yet, it is a journey you define.

At her core, Emily is a champion - whether that’s standing on the podium, standing at a microphone, or standing in a river - she is a passionate advocate for living the fullest and most authentic life possible. For being true to yourself, your family, your community, and your world. For working towards meaningful goals with patience, tenacity and joy.

TODAY

Emily Rodger’s love for fly fishing was born out of fond childhood memories and a desperation for genuine happiness, when it felt like the world around her had shattered.

A lifelong love for the water and being in nature brought back focus and clarity after a season of traumatic events. While she searched the water for fish, Emily came to a greater understanding and acceptance of who she is, what she values, and what makes her tick.

This passion has led to a career in fishing, and bringing people along on the journey beside her. Whether following along on social media or experiencing her passion first-hand on a fishing trip, Emily’s magnetism has solidified her status as a champion and influencer with her growing audience of dedicated fans.

THE PAST

It’s hard to imagine Emily wasn’t always in pursuit of her next great catch. Not long ago, however, she was chasing the finish line as an elite in the international cycling circuit.

Emily’s cycling success brought some of the highest peaks and lowest valleys in her personal journey;

In her first year of bike racing, Emily had 14 1st place finishes, a National masters title, and a World masters title in Time Trial. Emily has had many notable career moments including being a 2x UCI GranFondo World Champion (both Time Trial and Road Race), Canadian Masters National Time Trial Champion, and 70.3 Ironman world qualifier.

Emily’s cycling success brought her more than just podium finishes; she was involved in two devastating cycling crashes, resulting in multiple broken bones, a brain injury, and extensive soft tissue damage.

This was the turning point - where she began the path forward: from racing, to recovery, to reinvention.

What would have left others discouraged and defeated, Emily used as fuel to propel herself further, into a person of resilience and confidence. As she took a step back from the racing world, and rediscovered old passions, she found coaching. The pursuit of certification in executive coaching enabled her to invest in herself, and then those around her.
